引言强地面运动地震学主要研究对人类伤亡和财产损失构成威胁的振幅范围内的地震地面运动。由于事先不能预报强地面运动的发生,同时由于任何地区的较大地震的间隔时间由几十年至几千年不等,故强地面运动资料都通过触发记录的仪器记录,并通常应在重要记录期间妥为保存,以供随时取用。因此,强地面运动的资料很少。由于工程上需要强地面运动资料用于估算未来的地面运动,所以,强地面运动地震学的范围包括震源理论和地震学领域内其它能为用有限资料作出最佳可能估计提供有用
