When two nouns, noun phrases, or nominal clauses are connected together as subjects, the predicate verbs should generally be plural. For example: The headm aster and the maths teacherattended the microphone. The principal and the math teacher attended the conference. W hathe said and whathe did has significantly enclosed his students.
