1978—1980年间,我因撰写《巴金评传》,曾走访了许多老作家以及巴老的亲友。他们都非常热情友好地接待我,回答了我的有关提问。其中有几位是在通信中用书面形式回答我的。回想他们那种无私的、认真的、慷慨的支持和帮助,至今使我感激铭记。现在,我已把手中保存的柯灵、艾芜、田涛、魏绍昌、昊朗西、李采臣等六位老先生的手书原件捐赠给了中国现代文学馆;也还鉴于这些书信的内容,主要是介绍有关巴金和文化生活出版社以及扶植青年作家的动人情况,对巴金研究者和爱好巴金作品的读者有重要参考价值,故借《新文学史料》宝贵篇幅,刊布于此。
From 1978 to 1980, I visited many old writers as well as relatives and friends of Pakistan because of my writing of the “Critique of Ba Jin”. They all received me warmly and friendlyly and answered my questions. A few of them answered me in writing in a communication. I remember so far in recalling their selfless, serious, generous support and help. Now, I have donated the original handwritten notes of the six old gentlemen from the hands of Ke Ling, Ai Wu, Tian Tao, Wei Shaochang, Hao Lansi, and Li Saichen to the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature. In view of the contents of these letters, mainly The introduction of the Paling and Cultural Life Press and the fostering of young writers are valuable references to researchers in Ba Jin and readers who love Ba Jin's works. Therefore, they are published in the valuable space of Historical Materials of New Literature.
