长久以来,爱尔兰人都深信蜂蜜酒能够增强性能力和生育能力,当地习俗是新婚夫妇得从他们婚后的第一个月圆之夜开始喝蜂蜜酒,直到下一个月圆之夜为止。这或许也和“蜜月”一词有点关系。
Irish people have long believed that honey can enhance sexual and reproductive performance. It is customary for newlyweds to start drinking honey from their first full moon night after marriage, until the next full moon night. This may also be related to the term “honeymoon”.
