要把中国的事情办好,关键取决于我们党,取决于党的思想、作风、组织、纪律状况和战斗力、领导水平。这是毛主席、邓小平同志一贯强调的,也是我们党在领导人民进行革命、建设、改革的长期实践中得出的一条基本经验。能不能适应新形势新任务的要求,把我们党建设得更加组织严密、更加行动一致、更加团结有力、更加朝气蓬勃,这关系到党和人民事业的兴旺发达和国家的长治久安。
The key to running China well is to depend on our party and on the party’s thinking, style, organization, discipline, combat effectiveness and leadership. This is what both Chairman Mao and Deng Xiaoping have consistently emphasized and is also a basic experience our party has drawn from its long-term practice of leading the people in revolution, construction and reform. Can we meet the requirements of the new situation and new tasks, build our party more closely, act more in unity, be more united and energetic, and even more prosperous? This is related to the thriving development of the cause of the party and the people and the long-term peace and stability of the country.
