随着我国钢铁工业的发展,选矿技术的进步,因而铁精矿品位不断提高。鞍钢在1980年铁精矿品位将普遍达到65%以上,磁选精矿将达到66~67%,这样,烧结矿铁分亦将达55~57%。由于精矿品位高,SiO_2含量低,矿粉粒度细,目前的烧结操作便不适应,烧结矿质量下低。如本钢二铁厂,1975年烧结矿平均品位51.50%,碱度1.13,转鼓指数平均22.4%,而在1977年六七月份,烧结矿品位突破58%,平均56.54%,
