为繁荣的戏曲艺术,促进戏曲音乐的发展,北京剧协联合北京市文化局和北京电视台共同举办的北京市1979—1989优秀戏曲唱段评选活动,于4月15日在京举行了颁奖和演出。最后由中直及北京市有关专家组成的评委会投票评选出一等奖13段,二等奖13段,配器奖6段。其中京剧9段,昆曲5段,评剧7段,河北梆子5段,曲剧6段。获奖作品一共32段。获奖作者24位,既有从事戏曲创作四、五十年的老作曲家如刘吉典、傅雪漪、陆放等;又有创作成就卓越具有全国影响的中年作曲家,如关雅农、陆松龄等;北京京剧院的中年作曲家陆松龄十
