“高分辨率层序地层学”这个概念,在上个世纪九十年代中期,据称作为一个新学派,由我国学者从美国引进的。之后,我国有了这方面的专著出版,近几年在专业书刊、论文中已屡见不鲜,影响甚广。本刊将“高分辨率层序地层学质疑”一文发表于此,希望在学界能够毫无顾忌地展开讨论和辩论,以为营造有利于学术进步的文化氛围增添一点气氛。科学的发展、技术的进步,不是个别人的行为,需要许多人的智慧和创造,需要科学思维、科学方法和科学精神的弘扬。
