Ellman method was used to determine the activity of erythrocyte membrane acetylcholinesterase (EM-AChE) and plasma butyrylcholinesterase (PI-BchE) in 46 children with cerebral palsy (CP) and 34 children with normal control. Results CP The activities of EM-AchE and P1-DehE in children were significantly lower than those in mild group and control group The activity of P1-BchE in group and severe group was significantly lower than those in the other three groups, which may be thought to have a certain impact on CP-series clinical manifestations such as dyskinesia, mental retardation and abnormal EEG activity.
