期刊的影响因子值是目前国内外有关部门用以衡量各刊学术水平和办刊质量的一项重要指标。中国科技信息研究所自1998年以来在其每年出版的《中国科技期刊引证报告》中,将国内各学科具有代表性的1000余种质量较为优秀的科技期刊作为统计源期刊,并公布了由统计所得的这些刊物的影响因子值。现将1997～2001的5a中,《岩石力学与工程学报》的影响因子值及其在全国和各类学科统计源刊中的排名列出如下表所示。
