在中国画坛上,有位不平凡的人物,他以传神之笔,为新中国营造了一座独具风格的中国画肖像画长廊,被誉为“中国革命伟人肖像画家第一人”。他的佳作深深地抓住了广大读者的心,蜚声海内外,这位画家就是中央美术学院教授李琦先生。如今,李琦从事革命文艺工作已经整60年了,人们对他满怀敬意。由老一辈革命家薄一波同志题名的“李琦书画展”于1997年10月在中国革命博物馆展出一周。画展大厅内,悬挂着共和国总理写的条幅:“时代的缩影形象的丰碑为李琦同志从事革命文艺工作六十周年题李鹏 1997年10月12日”。
On the Chinese painting scene, there is an extraordinary person. With his vivid touch, he created a unique portrayal of portraits of Chinese painting for New China and is known as the “First Man of the Great Portrait of Chinese Revolution”. His masterpiece deeply captured the hearts of readers, renowned at home and abroad, the painter is the Central Academy of Fine Arts Professor Li Qi. Now, Li Qi engaged in revolutionary literature and art work has been for 60 years, people respect him. The “Li Qi Paintings and Calligraphy Exhibition”, titled by Comrade Bo Yibo of the older generation, was exhibited for one week at the China Revolutionary Museum in October 1997. In the hall of the exhibition, banners hanging by the Prime Minister of the Republic are hung: “The monumental monument of the era is the sixtieth anniversary of Comrade Li Qi’s work in revolutionary literature Li Peng 1997.12.12”.
