This article presents the development steps for the NASA digital carrier control system for Delft Launch Vehicle. This article discusses a two-stage control with only a sensitive component of its digital control system Del. The sensitive element is used as an attitude reference to obtain the angular velocity information required for stability. Using a single sensitive element as the attitude reference, the digital filter, in combination, provides a satisfactory range of stability. The article also describes the entire development from the technical requirements of the system to the results of the flight.
