一个国家总统的陵墓和一个草根孩子墓毗邻而居,这可能是世界上难以寻觅的奇观了。在美国纽约,有着一座高约一百五十米的巍峨建筑。它下层为希腊神殿式方形,上层为陶立克柱圆形,上面刻有“让我们拥有和平”一行大字。建筑物门前两侧,各有一只巨大的展翅欲飞的石鹰。石鹰旁,矗立着美国国旗和四星军旗。这就是美国南北战争著名的北军统帅、美国第十八届总统尤利乌斯·格兰特的陵墓。离格兰特总统陵墓不到一百米处的哈德逊河边,还有一座五岁男孩的墓。男孩名叫St Claire Pollock,1797年
The mausoleum of a president and a grass-roots kid’s tomb abut one another, and this may be the wonders won in the world. In New York, USA, there is a towering building about 150 meters high. It is the lower part of the Greek temple-style square, the upper tao Li Ke column circular engraved with “Let’s have peace ” his party characters. Buildings in front of both sides, each with a huge wings to fly stone eagle. Next to the stone eagle, stands the American flag and the four-star flag. This is the famous North Army commander of the U.S. Civil War and the mausoleum of the 18th president of the United States, Julius Grant. There is also a five-year-old boy’s tomb beside the Hudson River less than a hundred meters from President Grant’s mausoleum. The boy is called St Claire Pollock, 1797
