新南威尔士州帕斯明科采矿公司的埃卢拉矿继续在更大的深度上开拓，加之矿石价格不断下跌，因而迫切需要开发新的技术以提高矿山生产能力。运矿汽车重载循环时间长，极大地限制着矿石运输系统的效能．于是便产生了将埃卢拉矿的井下运输车队改建成“特快汽车”的构想．
The continuation of the Elura Mine at Passimco Mining Company in New South Wales to a greater depth, coupled with declining ore prices, there is an urgent need to develop new technologies to increase mine production capacity. Heavy-duty truck transport cycle time, greatly limiting the effectiveness of the ore transport system. As a result, the idea of converting the underground transport convoy in Elura into a “Express Car” was created.
