自古以来,城镇化的进程与经济的发展存在着密不可分的关系。随着经济的发展,城镇化建设的推进,二者的协调系数也在逐渐提高。城镇化建议为区域经济发展提供了强有力的推动力,区域经济的飞速发展,也在无形中促进了城镇化的进程。从这一意义上来说,具体到我国经济,城镇化是推动中国经济发展的主力引擎,对中国经济的发展起到重要的推动作用。因此,我们在研究经济的发展问题时,不可以孤立地研究经济本身,而须将经济置身于一定的时代背景与当下环境中,经济的发展中由多方面的因素相互作用的综合结果,而这其中,城镇化是其中不可或缺的必要因素。
