我国的高中英语在自主学习实践问题上仍有严重不足:课堂仍然以教师为中心,教学中存在满堂灌的问题,教师没有真正关注学生的学习方式、思维活动以及真正意义上的交流,因此学生的学习主体地位得不到重视。由此导致学生既缺乏主动探究的能力,又缺乏质疑的精神,最终使他们的潜力难以充分发挥。要想解决这些问题,归根结底要把自主学习以正确的方式真正应用到高中英语教学中,提高学生的自主学习能力,使学生在学习的过程中具有主动学习的意识,保持积极主动学习的状态,对自己的学习过程始终能做到自我监控或自我调节。
