在建国后迄至七十年代末的新诗中,以“太阳”意象象征毛泽东同志成为一种普遍的现象。在直接的层面上,这一现象源于四十年代的歌曲《东方红》。这一意象为诗人们所认同,既有中国传统文化精神的潜在影响以及由此积淀的集体无意识的巨大作用,也同当代中国政治生活的特殊历史进程密切相关。在此基础上所形成的个人崇拜心理对中国新诗创作产生了不容忽视的负面影响
In the new poems up to the late 1970s after the founding of the People’s Republic, it was a common phenomenon to symbolize Comrade Mao Tse-tung by the image of “the sun.” On the direct level, this phenomenon stems from the song “Dongfanghong” of the forties. This image is recognized by the poets as both the potential impact of the traditional Chinese cultural spirit and the collective unconscious role it has accumulated. It is also closely related to the special historical process of contemporary Chinese political life.
