An audit conducted by the EU’s Food and Veterinary Office in May found that the Greek pesticide approval system complies with EU regulations and has good cooperation with other regulatory agencies and relevant groups in the control of illicit pesticides with well-defined objectives, but with some “deficiencies ”. This includes the lack of clear procedures for pesticide retailer management planning, reducing the efficiency of such management.
