根据中央、省市对新农村建设工作的总体部署,从2008年初开始,浙江省安吉县创新开展了为期十年的“中国美丽乡村”建设工程。中国美丽乡村,以立足县域抓提升,着眼全省建试点,面向全国做示范为基本定位,围绕村村优美、家家创业、处处和谐、人人幸福四大目标,按照尊重自然美、侧重现代美、注重个性美、构建整体美四项原则,实施环境提升、产业提升、素质提升、服务提升四大工程,力争建成全覆盖、高标准、深领域的现代化新农村建设示范区。
