1969年7月16日,美国首次向月球成功地发射了载人宇宙飞船阿波罗11号。美国哥伦比亚广播公司(CBS)首席节目主持人沃尔特·克朗凯特,连续几个小时向全世界妙语连珠地直播了当时的盛况。由此,克朗凯特的名字家喻户晓,成为播音界的骄傲。10年后,1979年初,邓小平率中国政府代表团访问美国。37岁的播音员赵忠祥随电视报道小组登上美洲大陆。访问期间,赵忠祥与美国三大广播公司(NBC、ABC、CBS)的节目主持人进行了成功的合作,10次通过卫星向国内直播,引起极大的反响。赵忠祥游刃有余的节目主持能力,使美国同行不得不刮目相看,称许他是“中国的克朗凯特!”
July 16, 1969, the United States for the first time successfully launched the manned spacecraft Apollo 11 to the moon. Walt Cronkite, the chief programmatic anchor of CBS, lasted for hours to broadcast the punchline to the world. As a result, Cronkite’s name became a household name and became the pride of the broadcasting industry. Ten years later, in early 1979, Deng Xiaoping led a Chinese government delegation to visit the United States. Zhao Zhongxiang, a 37-year-old announcer, boarded the television coverage group on the mainland. During the visit, Zhao Zhongxiang successfully cooperated with the presenters of the three major U.S. broadcasters (NBC, ABC, CBS) and broadcast 10 times to China via satellite, arousing great repercussions. Zhao Zhongxiang’s ability to play host to the show so that his American counterparts had to take a great breath and praised him as “China’s Cronkite!”
