自治区成立50年来,社会生产力获得空前的解放和发展,经济建设取得了举世瞩目的成就。广西GDP由1958年的24.52亿元,增长到2007年的5955.65亿元,增长了40.8倍(按可比价计算);人均GDP由1958年的113元,增加到2007年的12555元,增长了17.1倍(按可比价计算)。地方财政收入由1958年的4.66亿元,增加到2007年的418.83亿元,增长了89倍;人均财政收入由1958年的21.5元提高到2007年的1484元,翻了6.1番,年均增长9.0%。
Since its establishment 50 years ago, the autonomous region has enjoyed unprecedented liberation and development of social productive forces and made remarkable achievements in economic construction. Guangxi's GDP increased from 2452 million yuan in 1958 to 595.565 billion yuan in 2007, an increase of 40.8 times (at comparable prices); per capita GDP increased from 113 yuan in 1958 to 12555 yuan in 2007, an increase of 17.1 Times (according to comparable prices). Local fiscal revenue increased from 466 million yuan in 1958 to 41.883 billion yuan in 2007, an increase of 89 times. Per capita fiscal revenue increased from 21.5 yuan in 1958 to 1,484 yuan in 2007, an increase of 6.1 times, an average annual increase 9.0%.
