近期,西北师范大学文学院教授张晓琴的文学评论集《一灯如豆》和《大荒以西》分别由北京大学出版社和北岳文艺出版社出版。《一灯如豆》一书探析了贾平凹、刘震云、格非、余华等多位重要作家的文本,尤其对新世纪文学的文化语境,新媒体时代文学的真实性与虚构、非虚构文学,城市文学的当代形态等热点问题显现出独到的视角与眼光。《大荒以西》则将批评的视角更多投向西部作家的书写。陈晓明教授在《大荒以西》的序言中评价认为:
