CMT-HICORP Machinery （Qingdao） Co.， Ltd. is a joint venture of Qingdao HICORP Group and Italian CMT. CMT-HICORP Machinery has a comprehensive grasp of the core technology of roving-ring link intelligent roving machine system. HICORP Group sees an annual output of more than a thousand computer roving machine， and its automatic doffing roving machine and roving-ring link system are leading the upgrade trend of the world textile industry， with products exporting to more than 20 countries and regions. The reporter of China Textile found an opportunity to have an interview with Yang Dejie， Assistant GM for Sales of CMT-HICORP Machinery， when the INDO INTER TEX is approaching.
Indonesia is the largest economy in Southeast Asia， as well as a country in stable and friendly relation with China. Its political stability is the basis for healthy economic development， and its textile and apparel rank in the top five globally in scale. Mr. Yang said that “CMT-HICORP Machinery has long concerned about the Indonesian market； however， subject to the lagged development strategies of the market， only a few years before the roving machines and looms saw a marketing breakthrough. The feedback of the market tells that Indonesian customers are not satisfied with almost all Chinese equipment manufacturers’after-sale services， reaction speed and the responsible attitude， which still have a way to go compared with the overseas famous brands， such as that in Europe. In the midst of the vagaries of market competitions， we always insist on moving ahead steadily to expand market shares， to set an example for the country’s exports of electromechanical equipment.”
Mr. Yang continued that “What I want to know for the most is the Indonesian government policy on the textile and weaving industry， development prospects， and Indonesian customers’ exact idea about choice of equipment. At present， Indonesian market has not accounted for so many shares in our company， only a secondary role， which however， later will be expanded through our efforts.”
Mr. Yang introduced that CMT-HICORP Machinery will participate in the exhibition this April not only for contact with the frequent customers， but also for the development of new clients. “Today， so many textile machinery enterprises ‘go global’， and in like wise， we are also to make further development into the overseas markets.”
To his mind， exhibition is just a stage for show， while the real orders still need a lot of work to do. No matter how gorgeous the appearance is， customer awareness and acceptance in practice is always a must. With rising domestic labor costs， the industry will inevitably shift to the areas of lower labor costs， and Indonesia will become one of the best choices for investors in the textile industry. For the Indo Inter Tex this April， the company will mainly showcase its air-jet looms and tuck-in selvedges， for the reason that the crank-shedding air-jet looms are adapted to the Indonesian market owing to high performance-price ratio. This kind of looms is widely used in Indonesia， which therefore can help the company expand market shares in Indonesia， laying the foundation for the subsequent promotion of high-end equipment.
Influenced by the investment environment and the rising labor costs in recent years， the domestic textile industry has begun to go out and invest in building factories in Southeast Asia， which is an irreversible trend. “We must take full advantage of these “go-global” enterprises that can provide us a platform to better showcase our products. We must also go out resolutely to expand publicity in foreign markets and improve the overseas after-sale service system， providing customers with quality products and satisfactory service.”
Mr. Yang stressed that “We will continue to enhance the automatic doffing roving frame and the roving-ring link system for much more promotion in the overseas market. What’s more， the company will pay more attention to the study on energy efficiency and stability of air-jet looms， as well as innovation in automatic conveying.”
