在我国许多高校都开设了英美文学课程,但是具体的教学模式大多为文学史与文学名著选读相结合的模式,在这种教学模式中学生可以获得较为扎实的文学基础知识,但文学赏析能力却没有得到提升。为此,应当进行改革,将文学批评理论引入英美文学课程中可以提升学生赏析英美文学的能力,弥补当前教学模式的短板。因此,在英美文学课程中运用文学批评理论是重要意义且可行的。一、英美文学教学运用文学批评理论的重要性(一)英美文学课程教学目标要求
