【问题提出】多媒体技术的应用是教育现代化的重要标志之一。多媒体教学为课堂注入了新的生机与活力,为改变传统的注重灌输、封闭的英语课堂教学模式提供了新思路。在课堂中恰当地使用多媒体辅助教学,既能激发学生的求知欲、激活学生的思维,又能拓展延伸,加大信息量,丰富学生的视觉感官和认识,使课堂教学优化,收到事半功倍的教学效果。然而,许多新兴事物都是一把双刃剑,它在给人们带来便利的同时,也不可避免地带来一些弊端。多媒体在英语课堂中的运用亦是如此。
