The study of the plasticization properties of lignosulfonates is an important aspect of the study of concrete admixtures. Superplasticizers or similar admixtures can be made with lignosulfonate as the main component. The Soviet Union modified the lignosulfonates and explored two successful modifications. Various industrial products of lignosulfonate concentrates are various polymers with very different molecular weights.
