我们来到天津南开大学平房住宅区第47号院落,轻轻按响门铃,开门的是陈茹玉。她步履轻盈,极具知识女性的高雅仪态。我们谁也没想到她已83岁高龄了! 走进明亮的客厅,首先映入眼帘的是一幅挂在墙上的扇面国画——群鹤翩翩,亲情脉脉,于白云深处飘飘欲仙。国画上方友人赠写的横幅——“群鹤飞翔”四个大字苍劲有力。此刻,我们想起“晴空一鹤排云上,便有诗情到碧霄”的诗句,又仿佛听到了鹤鸣九皋,声闻于天……客厅连着书房,84岁高龄的何炳林走过来欢迎我们。他满头银发,依然精神矍铄。至今,何炳林夫妇不仅担任着繁重的教学科研任务,而且还承担着诸多的社会工作,繁忙带来了劳累,也带来了充实和乐趣……
