水电站的虹吸进水口,是利用虹吸原理将水流引入压力水道的一种特殊型式的进水口。当需要切断水流时,只需将空气送入驼峰段破坏真空,便能迅速、彻底断流,运用方便可靠,具有一般闸阀无可比拟的控流功能,因此已为国内外一些水电站所采用。六十年代以来,国内浙江、青海等地先后设计兴建了一批虹吸进水式水电站,经过多年运行之后,普遍反映良好.苏联斯塔沃罗普渠首枢纽上的库班水电站,首次采用了虹吸进水口,其运行经验表明,虹吸进水口不仅具有很高的工作可靠性,而且运用方便。云南省自1978年开始,设计兴建了第一座虹吸进水式水电站——路南叠水二级水电站。该站于1981年
