因为工作关系,我常参加各种全国性的新闻作品评奖。我是把这件事当作学问来做的。我们国家这样大,报刊这样多,能够在全国得奖是凤毛麟角。经过一级一级筛选而送上来的稿子,绝大多数都是精品,其中饱含着新闻写作的道理和方法。所以每次评奖都大有收益,仿如重上了一堂写作课。但同时也会发现一些稿子有毛病,甚至有的违反新闻原理和常识。有的不合语言规律。试想一篇稿从记者落笔、编辑编稿、部主任改稿、值班总编定稿,再经过各级评委认可,一级一级送上来,要过多少关,但还是不能尽如人意,可想平时报纸上的粗糙之作又有多少。每到这时我耳边就响起社会上流传的那句话:“新闻无学。”新闻界是最脑火听这种话的,这是一种无法忍受的蔑视。但是再转念一想,如果现在是评一篇国家级的科学论文呢?恐怕不会有这个笑话。看来有学无学之争还要认真对待一
