李学勤在其《春秋郑器与兵方壶论释》一文中,介绍了流散海外的与兵方壶的形制,论述了铭文反映的历史事实,同时还断定器作于郑成公至简公初年(《中国古代文明研究》,华东师范大学出版社,2005,99—102页)。至于铭文反映的礼制,却未暇申论,故笔者不揣浅陋,撰此小文略作补充论释。为便于讨论,先引录李学勤所释铭文于下:
