参考Novachip-A级配,初选两种级配,通过均匀设计方法,优选出最佳油石比及纤维掺量下的沥青混合料的孔隙率及油膜厚度,研究出类似于Novachip的纤维类间断半开级配沥青混合料。试验结果表明,通过降低2.36mm筛孔细料的通过率,添加低于3%的纤维,可以获得孔隙率大于10%、油膜厚度大于10μm的纤维类沥青混合料。文中还讨论了此类沥青混合料的矿料间隙率、沥青饱和度的近似算法,给出了近似算法带来的误差范围;研究大孔隙率沥青混合料水稳定性的两种评价方法,推荐采用劈裂冻融试验作为该混合料的评价试验。
