2000年 8月 5日至 6日共青团中央在京召开省级团省委书记学习江泽民总书记“三个代表”重要思想座谈会。会议就如何在团的建设和工作中贯彻、落实“三个代表”的思想进行了深入交流与讨论。全国 37个省级团委书记或主要负责同志，以及团中央机关各部门和直属单位主要负责同志参加了会议。以下摘编的是座谈会中部分省级团委书记的书面发言，标题为编者所加。
August 5-6, 2000 The Central Committee of the Communist Youth League convened a Provincial League Committee Secretary in Beijing to Study General Secretary Jiang Zemin’s “Three Represents” Symposium. The meeting conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on how to carry out and implement the thinking of the “Three Represents” in the group building and work. The chief responsible comrades of the 37 provincial Communist Youth League secretaries, chief responsible comrades, and departments and units under the Central Government Organizations of the whole country attended the meeting.
