民族区域自治制度是中国处理民族关系的一项制度,是对自古以来中央政府处理各民族关系政策的传承及发展。文章从民族区域自治制度乃历史与现实选择角度,介绍民族区域自治制度是基于中国历史不同阶段、不一样特点,各民族人口及分布,民族关系的国情而做出的选择,民族区域自治制度有无法比拟的优越性。贯彻民族区域自治制度要妥善处理统一与自治,政策与法律,发展与稳定这些关系。贯彻民族区域自治制度要坚持因地制宜、利于经济发展、法制统一等原则,研究民族区域自治制度对构建和谐有序的民族关系,建设法治国家、政府及社会,实现中华民族之伟大复兴具有深远意义。
The system of regional autonomy of ethnic minorities is a system for handling ethnic relations in China and is the inheritance and development of the Central Government’s policy of handling ethnic relations since ancient times. From the perspective of the choice of history and reality, the article introduces that the system of regional autonomy of ethnic minorities is based on the different stages of Chinese history, different characteristics, the population and distribution of ethnic groups and the national conditions of ethnic relations. To implement the system of ethnic regional autonomy, we must properly handle such relations as unity and autonomy, policies and laws, development and stability. Carrying out the system of regional autonomy of ethnic minorities should adhere to such principles as adapting to the outside world, benefiting the economic development and unifying the legal system and studying the system of regional ethnic autonomy for building a harmonious and orderly ethnic relations and building a state under the rule of law, government and society and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
