企业核心竞争力由美国管理专家普拉哈拉德和哈默(C·Prahalad and G·Hamel)首次于1990年提出。他们认为,企业核心能力(Core Competence)是一种稀缺的、难以横仿的、有价值的、可延展的能力。企业竞争优势来源于企业的竞争能力。企业核心竞争力可以概括为:企业在经营和发展中胜过对手的核心资源和能力。它对本企业价值巨大,而且是企业做得最好,而其他企业难以模仿和学到的、独特的、稀缺的优势。通俗地讲,用“人无我有,人有我优”来描述核心竞争力的内涵就比较贴切。目前,国内企业为争夺市场,竞争激烈,但同质化竞争也非常严重,最缺的还是原创力,没有原创力,何谈建立自己的核心竞争力呢?
The core competitiveness of enterprises was first proposed by U.S. administration experts Prahalad and G. Hamel in 1990. They think that Core Competence is a scarce, difficult to imitate, valuable, scalable ability. Enterprise competitive advantage comes from the competitiveness of enterprises. The core competence of an enterprise can be summarized as follows: an enterprise outperforms its competitors' core resources and capabilities in its operation and development. It is of great value to the enterprise, and it is the unique and scarce advantage that the enterprise has done best, and others have difficulty in imitating and learning. To put it in a nutshell, the connotation of core competitiveness is more appropriate when “people have no I and I have excellent”. At present, domestic enterprises are fiercely contending for the market. However, the homogenization competition is also very serious. What is lacking is the original power and the lack of originality. How can we establish our own core competitiveness?
