The National Summer Orange Appraisal Committee, chaired by China National Cereals, Oils and Foodstuffs Import and Export Corporation, was held in Nanning from April 24-28. More than 50 representatives from the agricultural and commercial sectors and the Hong Kong-based WFP team from Guangxi, Guangdong, Sichuan, Fujian, Hunan, Jiangxi, Guizhou and Yunnan provinces attended the conference. The meeting summed up the exchange of domestic and foreign summer orange varieties, cultivation and sales, evaluation of the samples to discuss the establishment of summer orange commodity production base of the relevant issues.
