荒木经惟的这本《爱的阳台》收录了91张黑白照片,这些照片均拍摄自荒木曾居住过豪德寺住所的阳台上。从1982年到2011年,荒木在这处住所居住了30年,期间经历了妻子(阳子)的离世以及爱猫奇洛的死亡,而阳子和奇洛曾是荒木最为挚爱的生活伴侣以及拍摄对象,因此这30年间的拍摄记录着荒木一生中最为重要的事件。
Akira Araki’s “Balcony of Love” contains 91 black and white photographs taken from the terrace where Araki had lived in Haode Temple. From 1982 to 2011, Araki lived in this residence for 30 years, during which he experienced the death of his wife (Yoko) and the death of Cat lover, Yoko and Chilo were the most beloved life partners of Arak and Therefore, this 30-year filming records the most important event in Araki’s life.
