詹姆斯·莫里森在世界各地旅行,寻觅孩子们的卧室。他拍摄了200多个小孩的白底肖像,让卧室替他们讲自己的故事。他发现拍摄孩子的卧室最能展现他们身处的社会环境。肯尼亚出生、英国长大、现居于意大利的莫里森,希望孩子们能看懂他的作品,看到这个世界的贫富悬殊,并努力改变自己的命运。
James Morrison travels around the world looking for children’s bedrooms. He photographed white portraits of more than 200 children, letting the bedroom tell their stories for them. He found that the bedroom where kids were taken best demonstrated the social environment in which they live. Born in Kenya, grew up in Britain and now lives in Morrison, Italy, I hope children can understand his works, see the world disparity between the rich and the poor, and strive to change their own destiny.
