随着计算机应用技术的快速发展,社会对计算机应用专业人才的技能要求也在不断发生变化。在激烈的人才市场竞争中,中等职业学校的计算机应用专业,在人才培养上,既要满足学生就业的需要,又要注重学生的个性发展,为学生的长远发展奠定良好的基础。因此中职计算机专业课程设置,必须与社会需求、计算机技术发展、学生能力基础及发展需求“联动”:应从向下(初中)、向上(高职)、向外(社会需求)及向前(技术发展)四个方面来研究专业课程建设,使所开设的专业课程能适应社会的变化需求及学生发展需求,真正做到教育服务于社会、服务于学生,这对计算机应用专业的发展及学校的发展都有十分重要的意义。
