著名京剧表演艺术家、名净候喜瑞先生,于今年二月二十二日十一二时十八分在北京寓所长眠,无疾而终,享年九十二岁。侯喜瑞先生生前任中国戏曲学院艺术顾问、北京市戏曲研究所研究员。他一八九二年生于北京,自幼入喜连成科班第一科学艺,工花脸,受到萧长华、韩乐卿的培育,后又拜入黄润甫(黄三)门下,深得薪传。他尊师重道,勤修苦学,勇于创新,锐意求进,在继承、发展净角表演艺术方面,取得了突出成就,以其健美、灵俏、洒脱的表演风格,创树了独树一帜的“侯派”,与金少山、郝寿臣鼎足而三。他塑造的曹操、张飞、马谡、黄盖、李逵、刘瑾、窦尔墩、黄隆基等众多的舞台艺术形象,深为观众所喜爱,更以饰曹操当行出色而得“活曹操”之誉。八十多年的艺术生活中,曾先后与杨小楼、余叔岩、梅兰芳、程砚秋、尚小云、苟慧生、孟小冬、高庆奎、马连良诸名家大师同台献艺,花红叶绿,相得益彰。
Renowned Peking opera performance artist, Mr. Nobuhiro Wataru, was able to sleep in his apartment in Beijing at 11.22am on February 22 this year. He died at the age of 92 and was 92 years old. Mr. Hou Xirui was an art adviser to the Chinese Opera Academy and a researcher at Beijing Opera Research Institute. Born in Beijing in 1892, he became a member of the first science art school in Hong Kong. He was trained by Xiao Changhua and Han Leqing and later paid a courtesy call to Huang Runfu (Huang San). He respected his teachers and worked hard to study hard. He was creative and determined to make progress. He has made outstanding achievements in inheriting and developing the performance of the net-angle performing arts. He has created a unique style of “ Hou sent ”, and Jinshan, Hao Shouchen tripod and three. Cao Cao, Zhang Fei, Ma Huan, Huang Gai, Li Kui, Liu Jin, Dou Er Tun, Huang Longji and many other stage art images, deeply loved by the audience, but also decorated with Cao Cao outstanding job and “living Cao Cao” reputation . Over 80 years of artistic life, he has worked in concert with Yang Xiaolu, Yu Shuyan, Mei Lanfang, Cheng Yanqiu, Shang Xiaoyun, Gou Huisheng, Meng Xiaodong, Gao Qingkui and Ma Lianliang.
