衙门与佛门,一个是凡尘俗世的功利场所,一个是超然物外的信仰净土,两者应有天壤之别。然而,在甘肃永登县大通河畔的连城乡,衙门与佛门不过一墙之隔而已。衙门叫鲁土司衙门,是目前我国保存最为完好的明代土司衙门:佛门叫妙因寺,是一座精美绝异的喇嘛庙。两门相邻500多年,周围的人早已司空见惯,只有我这个远道而来的异乡人少见多怪,跟在一个喇嘛后面追问:“先有衙门,还是先有佛门?”弄得他好生尴尬,神情就像外交官,一脸的无可奉告。
