4月29日,NCR在北京中国大饭店隆重推出了可以由对称多处理(SMP)系统,直接升级之海量并行处理(MPP)架构的NCR WorldMark新型计算机主机系列。 新推出的WorldMark计算机系列与NCR以往的企业服务器产品完全相容。此番推出的产品包括WorldMark 5100系列和WorldMark 4100系列。其中5100系列可以同时支持对称多处理(SMP)群集(Clustered)及海量并行处理(MPP)等配置环境。
On April 29, NCR unveiled its new NCR WorldMark host computer series that can be directly upgraded with MPP architecture by Symmetric Multiprocessing (SMP) at the China World Hotel in Beijing. The new WorldMark computer series is fully compatible with NCR’s previous enterprise server offerings. The product launch this time includes WorldMark 5100 series and WorldMark 4100 series. The 5100 series supports both symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) clustering and massively parallel processing (MPP) configurations.
