Comrade Deng Xiaoping is the overall design leader of China’s reform and opening up and its modernization drive. When he conceived and portrayed the blueprint of building a socialist modern building in China, he not only took into consideration such factors as the strong and rich people and the political democracy, but also paid great attention to the simultaneous development of spiritual civilization and social economy. His series of important expositions on the construction of socialist spiritual civilization and ideological and political work shines on the glorious truth of Marxism and serves as a powerful weapon for us to unify our thinking, strengthen our conviction and work hard to carry out our work.
