从1956年党的“八大”到1966年“文化大革命”爆发,是中国共产党对社会主义建设新道路探索的十年。在探索初期,即1956年党的八大前后,党中央、毛泽东、周恩来、刘少奇、陈云等领导同志从我国实际出发,提出了一系列极其重要的新思想、新观点、新思路和新设想,在理论上、实践上取得丁重大的突破和成就,对我国的社会主义建设事业做出了重要的贡献。
