两岸故宫博物院的交流在两岸文化文物交流中占有特殊地位亦为海内外所注目我在故宫工作近十年中既拜机遇眷顾之赐也庆幸抓住了机遇而众人的智慧与努力又化解了许多困难回顾往事时代大波人生细浪因缘际会感慨良多二〇〇二年前半年我还在国家文物局任党组副书记副局长拟赴台进行文化文物交流但上报后有关机构迟迟未予批准到了九月我改任文化部副部长兼故宫博物院院长快到年底批
