展览名称:木刻赤子——刘岘作品捐赠展展览时间:2010年7月28日至8月5日刘岘(1915-1990)1915年生于河南兰考。1932年考入北平艺术专科学校西画专业,并自学木刻,1933年转入上海美术专科学校学习西画。1934年考入日本东京帝国美术学院油画系,师从日本著名版画家平塚运一。1939年到延安,任教于鲁迅艺术文学院美术系。新中国成立后任中国美术馆研究保管部主任、艺术委员会副主任。
Exhibition Name: Woodcut - Sonny Liu Works Donation Exhibition Exhibition Time: July 28, 2010 to August 5, 2010 Liu Xian (1915-1990) was born in 1915 in Lankao, Henan. In 1932 admitted to Peking Art College Western painting professional, and self-taught woodcut, 1933 into the Shanghai Art College learning western painting. In 1934 he was admitted to the Department of Oil Painting at the Imperial College of Fine Arts in Tokyo, Japan. He studied at a famous Japanese print artist Hiratsuka Yasuhiro. 1939 to Yan’an, taught at the Lu Xun Art and Literature Department of Fine Arts. After the founding of New China, he was the director of the Research and Storage Department of the National Art Museum of China and the deputy director of the Art Committee.
