Indonesia Promulgated New Law to Strictly Manage Logging Industry The Indonesian Ministry of Forest’s recently promulgated Decree 393 was more stringent. According to the law, the Indonesian government will punish the following offenders with sanctions for revoking logging licenses. (1) The owner of logging rights idles his logging area for two consecutive years; (b) The owner transfers the logging rights to a third party without authorization.
