据《南方日报》报道,今年6月29日下午16时45分,深圳东部华侨城大峡谷探险乐园的太空迷航项目设备突然发生重大安全事故,6人抢救无效身亡,10人受伤。目前该起事故还在调查中,事故原因还无从知晓。事故发生后,有多地质监部门对其所在地的游乐场所设施进行了紧急检查。近年来,伴随着游乐产业在我国的发展、大型游乐场所不断涌现,游乐场--这片成人和孩子的“乐土”也成为安全事故的多发地:2007年6月30日,安徽合肥逍遥津公园游乐场“世纪滑车”发生事故,导致2名中学生一死一伤;2006年4月16日,贵州河滨公园“穿梭时空”摩天轮游乐设施发生游客坠落事件,一名60多岁的女游客当场死亡……生命的代价再次唤醒了人们对游乐设施安全问题的关注。
