Toll-like receptors are the primary receptors for the innate immune system to recognize pathogenic microorganisms and play an important role in the innate immune response. TLR4 is the main receptor that mediates transmembrane transduction of LPS signaling and is crucial for the infectious inflammation of Gram-negative bacteria. Recently, the role of TLR4 and its signal transduction in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases has attracted much attention because of the close relationship between the occurrence and development of cardiovascular diseases and infection. In-depth study of the role of TLR4 in cardiovascular diseases not only greatly expands our understanding of the complexity of the interaction between pathogens and host immune responses, but also provides important information for further revealing the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases and seeking effective prevention and treatment measures Theoretical basis.
