On April 15, 2015, the Russian Embassy in China held the medal award ceremony for the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Patriotic War, and 32 elderly Chinese won the commemorative medal. Several of these elderly people were former Northeast Anti-Japanese Forces. Little-known is that they also used to be the Soviet Red Army: Soviet Union Red Army 88 independent infantry brigade. This independent brigade was the last essence of the anti-Japanese coalition forces in Northeast China. During the most difficult period of the war of resistance, the team mainly dived into the territory of the Soviet Union and became the sole international brigade of the Soviet Red Army.
