模糊限制语在政治演说中扮演着重要角色,本文着重从语用角度分析其在政治演说中的功能,指出模糊限制语在政治演说中的语用功能主要表现为增强说服力,赢取认同和支持;加强语言的灵活性和客观性;避免承担责任和自我保护;保全面子和遵守礼貌。
Hedges play an important role in political speeches. This thesis focuses on analyzing its functions in political speeches from a pragmatic point of view. It points out that the pragmatic functions of hedges in political speeches mainly include enhancing persuasion, winning approval and Support; enhance language flexibility and objectivity; avoid responsibility and self-protection; preserve face and politeness.
